DTR-9.1U2
7.1 Channel THX Ultra2 Receiver

There is no home theater receiver made anywhere... by anyone... that can match this unit's performance quality. With professional grade video switching and the flexibility to grow with your needs, there is basically only one choice for a home theater centerpiece that outperforms all others: the DTR-9.1U2.

This incredible component is THX Ultra2 certified and outfitted with THX Surround EX, DTS-ES, Dolby Digital EX, ProLogic II and even DTS Neo:6. It also includes an expansion port for future upgrades, an RS-232 port for control and powerful flash memory that can be updated to incorporate new features, making this the ideal soul for your home theater now... and in the future.

While other receivers offer video switching, very few can switch component video signals, and even fewer provide component video switching for three devices. The DTR-9.1U2 goes a step further to give you an option no other receiver gives you - professional grade video switching that has sufficient bandwidth - up to 50MHz - to ensure loss-free routing of images from progressive-scan DVD and HDTV sources. As remarkable as the video is, it's the DTR-9.1U2's audio performance that clearly puts it in a class all its own. The resolution is nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the AKM 192kHz/24-bit digital to analog converters for all seven channels. These state of the art DACs, the same used by many esoteric manufacturers, also deliver astoundingly wide dynamic range - up to 120 dB - wider than any receiver we know of. And they allow you to digitally upsample conventional 44.1 kHz/48kHz signals to 96kHz/24-bit resolution. The DTR-9.1U2 also boasts exclusive linear optimum-gain volume circuitry to give you a signal-to-noise ratio that exceeds 100 dB - a refinement that helps deliver a purity of sound that other receivers simply cannot touch.Feature-for-feature, spec-for-spec, the DTR-9.1U2 truly stands alone.
